Good bye our Friend
With life, come complications,
New things appear,
Addictions Rear
they pull us in and hold tight
our lives they wreck
on this neverending Trek
Some are strong or just not exposed
others must break free I suppose
And you, you were sucked in
but you were strong
you saw the faults
the fear and wrong
you touched our hearts
but now we part.
Not forever we hope
but for now we sit.
Some, like me are caught
others have broken away
and like you they are free each day
you were there for us
In hard times and good
there to bring us up
there to laugh along.
But now we part
our lives to cross once or more
Good-bye our friend, we will miss you
