Losing hope was freedom,

Freedom to be who I need to be,

Freedom to believe what speaks to me,

Losing hope started it all,

 A transformation where old pieces were stripped away,

And the new was left to stay,

Losing hope was a way of forgiving,

A way of forgiving family,

A way of forgiving the world,

A way of forgiving me so I can trust,

So I can put trust in friends,

So I can trust in my decisions,

So I can be free of the world,

To be one with the world,

To be me...
