Sometimes it'll be everything you dreamed

And nothing you thought wrong

In times it'll be the reverse,

And feel like the worst times,

You'll see horizons broadened

And you'll see mountains crushed

It'll be enlightening and frightening

It'll be intense and enthralling

A roller coaster ride and a smooth glide

Then..

You'll look back and be glad it's done

And look forward and cringe at what's to come

You'll look back and smile

And look forward and grin

As old challenges have passed

And new ones are nigh,

And once these trials are complete

Maybe then we can die

But we'll smile because we're happy,

Smile because we've conquered,

Smile because we've done it

And because were alive.

We'll leave a legacy,

One great or small,

A ripple in time, life, hearts and souls,

We'll effect them all,

So that when we die,

We will live within them all...
