I feel light as a feather

slow and dreamy

falling in semi circles

down to the  ground that I won’t stay on

for long

before I’m blown away.

You make me warm.

You make me lighthearted.

My mouth waters yet feels so dry

and when you scare me

I heave so gently

like the sound I make when I’m about to cry.

You fill me up

and watch me float away.

‘Cause you know I’ll be coming back

someday.

I feel dark.

I feel tranquil.

Like a bottomless body of water

I’d suck you in.

I’d let you drown.

and revel in all the pleasures in you I’ve found.

You make me seductive

You make me weak

Yet I am strong

For this love

I keep holding on.

It’s just a game  we play

no time for jealousy

no time for regrets

‘cause I know you’ll be coming back

someday.
