Now that I know you love me

I’m whole with you again

My wings have been mended

So now I can fly to you

And we’ll never be lonely

You’ve captured my soul that was lost

You’ll never know what losing you has cost.

I surrendered my eternity to the birds of prey

And they had their wicked ways with me

I shall say.

I stopped my own heartbeat and broke my vow to die with you.

I broke all my vows and only kept a few.

But you still love me

And that makes all the difference
