How could you do this to me?

Am I not making you happy?

I did nothing wrong

And now you want me to be strong?



Because I no longer get to have your sunshine

Or a loving girl I love so fine

You spit on my heart

Then tore it apart



After all was said and done

I still believe that you're my one

I'm sorry I couldnt love you enough

And I'm sorry that your life is rough



But just remember always

That your smile is the sun's rays

And now that my heart is shattered and torn

To me love is nothing but a painful thorn
