For so long I've been hiding
Trying to avoid the truth
If I don't acknowledge it
I can't be hurt by it
But the longer I run
The harder it is

Are pulling me in
Everyday that goes by
Breaks me down more
Your love tugs at me
To drop my defenses
And allow it to embrace me
So I can show it back to you
I do't want to be defenseless
And allow myself to be hurt
But by holding back
I know I'm missing out
Slowly my walls are falling
All that I've been
