Now that we are back together

Everything seems right in the world

You fill my every waking thought

And bless my happy dreams

Knowing you love me, reminds me

That life isn't so bad

Even in a world that's slowly dying

You fill my life with light and joy

Your smile, laugh, and warmth

Or you thoughtfulness and care

All a reminder of your love for me

Reminders that it's O.K.

Distance and time won't stop this feeling

It's more than we can control

I find a smile on my face

And realize that I was thinking of you

And all the months you've held my hand

Helping me through life

A few rocks have been scattered

But time and love will forget anything

Bringing many more days of bliss

Like yesterday and today

Seeing you for a minute is enough

To make my day worth while

One call from you is perfect

For making a bad day good again

Just knowing you'll always be there
