It's almost been a full year

and It's still not clear

Why did you chose that path

Did you not see the solution to the math?

Papa needed more time

I didn't need it like this to rhyme

Going through your things is so hard

I feel like you knew this would be delt as my card

Everyone would step up to the plate

That was given considering the state

But no one else had the niche

So Grandpa waited and still waits for my to pitch

It's almost been a full year

And this picture is still such a smear

I can even imagine how Papa feels

Missing you daily as he is supposed to heal
