Why are there so much of the same kind of men?



You know the ones that live in a world where they can only pretend



To be some fictional character they saw on tv



These want to be players



These made up ballers



That stay up on the same corner with the same mentality



That niggas had way back when I was three?



Huh why are these dudes that approach me?



Matter fact the true question is why do I even respond back?



I guess I seek to find the inner person that hides behind all their bull shit lies



That captures immature minds of babies stuck in grown folk’s bodies



I allow myself to get wrapped in the same words that I swore to block out



I hold a nigga down plenty and get upset when he disappoints men



As if I didn’t know from get go



That certain niggas are destined to be exactly what they see on tv
