The spring air alights
The white lilies bloom
Untouched and innocent
They cordially advocate
A peaceful mood
But fear stirs amidst the wistful calm
And the night sky becomes shaded—
Veiled by an incessant, greyish gloom
The ground shakes violently—
The black behemoth is stirred
With thunder and screeching
He perverts the land:
All that is wholesome is soon deterred
Darkness in the hearts of men
The delusion of greed in their minds
Sickness taints the earth
A product of the mad lust in their eyes
The white lilies
Once so innocent and pure
Now stained red;
By the harbingers of death
Us: creatures of war.
