Colorless

I see in black and white,
My eyes are a shade of darker gray
They watch and stare
Appearing cross—yet tamed

They hold a glossy semblance
Abstract and unfocused
Blank, bare—plain
But perceive the deepest depths;
Seeing the most innate.

Black and white,
This is my perception,
In black and white,
I see every color—I make every connection.
