from the ashes

once a gloden light of  hope

tarnished by reality

striped of all that was beautiful

left darkened and confused



empty and yet awakened

yearning and yet content

lonely and yet assured

wanting but needing nothing



searching,..... wandering,..... seeking

amongst the ashes of dispair... ambers glow

faith hope and love abound

a new found determination






Author's Notes/Comments: 

every journey in life is wrecked full of happiness and sorrow
full of wonder and lessons ...
.as sad as it may  be sometimes its what we do with those lessons.....
I fear that allows us to grow    LIFE WHAT A DEAL

foot note to me: the poem was not a problem but the note caused tears.....
tears of closure ....tears of joy remembering.......and tears of hope for a new tomorrow!
