A Small Disappointment

Self-Poetry I found out that I cannot get a job, because an education would be too much stress;
So, my life will continue to be a mess.
But, perhaps I will choose not to be a quitter;
For, I want to accomplish more in life than scooping the kitty litter.
I want very much improve my life;
And to be more than a common-law wife.
So, to get an education, I must be persitent;
And to learn and grow, I must not be resistent.
I wish that, at my portfolio, Hallmark.com could just look;
To tell me if they enjoy my talent, or if I need to read more books.
That is, perhaps, an idea good;
Though, having an educational requirement is understood.
I must send my portfolio to Hallmark.com;
But, I will not get too excited; I will stay calm.
Maybe things will work out for good;
If my talent is understood.
