Oh, Beautiful Child, Part 3

Folder:
Children's Poetry

You are my little wildflower in our happy family;
You'll always be a special girl;
I'll always be your Mommy.

Oh, beautiful child, I see the three flowers you made
Before our brother came to be;
One for Daddy, one for Mommy, and one for you, I see.

Oh, beautiful child, you have a very sweet Angel dressed in pink;
She knows she shares her name with you;
If we could see her eyes, she'd wink.

You are my little rainbow in the sky when the dark clouds part;
Oh, have I ever told you
How much I love your art?

Oh, beautiful child, yor whale is cute with bead of light and dark blue;
It also is so shiny;
For, you used a lot of glue.

You'll soar in life, my little one; and I will give you wings;
For, life's not about the bigest possessions you have;
It's all of the little things.

Oh, beautiful child, you show me now flowers made of snow;
They'll never melt; and the wonder you've felt
Will forever make them grow.

Oh, beautiful child, you're an angel of love;
You're my sweet Valentine; and every day, in every way
I'll make you happy that you're mine.

Oh, beautiful child, your tree is so colorful and great;
Good night to you, my little one;
I can see it's getting late.

Oh, beautiful child, you're an angel of light;
I wish that only pleasant dreams
Come to you in the night.

Oh, beautiful child, if all of the waves
In your life become too much, we'll swim together; don't be afraid;
Just feel my gentle touch.

Oh, beautiful child, I hope you're as happy
As a dolphin who flies through the air; and I promise you, my darling,
You will always know I care.

Oh, beautiful child, as you dream of stories of snowy castles in a magic sky;
I hope your fascination
With the world will never die.

Oh, beautiful child
On your wooden horse, I see you rock;
You and I are kindred spirits; you are the key to my lock.

Oh, beautiful child, I'm as joyful as a whale swimming through the water;
Because of the very simple fact
That you will always be my daughter.

Oh, beautiful child, I watch you dance as gracefully as a swan;
You fill me with tranquility;
And, all of my fears are gone.

Oh, beautiful child, the willow weeps;
But, I hope your only tears are soft droplets of happiness
As I comfort you of your fears.

Oh, beautiful child, as you watch the wind whisper
Through the willow tree; I hope that nature gives you as much pleasure
As it does for me.

Oh, beautiful child, you're as cuddly as a polar bear in the snow;
I want to hold onto this moment
And never let you go.

Oh, beautiful child, run into my arms; I promise to protect you.
I cross my heart and hope not to cry
I never will neglect you.

Oh, beautiful child; I shall help you discover the wonder of a waterfall;
And in your world, I hope you find
Fascinations great and small.

Oh, beautiful child; look out your window, and see the carnations and doves;
I pray your world is filled with
Many more things like these that you'll love.

Oh, beautiful child; as happy as a dolphin flies above the sea;
I'll do my best to make your youth
As carefree as can be.

Oh, beautiful child; you may never catch more than a glimpse of a little doe;
As it runs through the great forest
Of white, wintery snow.

Oh, beautiful child; you may see a lion; oh, so soft and white;
I see you made a picture of him
To cover your pillow at night.

Oh, beautiful child; look to the heavens; imagine angels in the sky,
And when you close your little eyes;
Pretend that they can fly.

Oh, beautiful child; I don't need an angel to top the Christmas tree;
For, I see an angel every day
When you're looking right at me.

Have no fear of the dark, my dear, there's magic in the night;
For in your dreams, you just may see
A pegasus in flight.

Oh, beautiful child; I wish you sweet dreams]
Of pink fairies in the sky; and maybe when you go to sleep,
You'll see that you can fly.

Oh, beautiful child, your bird is so pretty
Resting on a wreathe;
With his little yellow feet hiding underneath.

Oh, beautiful child, you share with me a bouquet that I so treasure;
One of the pinks matches your cheek; and I hope that you will seek
More flowers that bring you pleasure.

Oh, beautiful child, your pink fairy watches over you; and she is so proud;
As she happily grants your wishes
From the sky on a puffy cloud.

Oh, beautiful child, how I love you so; you are what defines me;
Like green to grass; blue to sky;
And branches to a tree.

Oh, beautiful child; you've shown me what the springtime mean to you;
Bunnies and cherry blossoms,
And a beautiful sky of light blue.

Oh, beautiful child; I love your pretty dolphins
You made to look like they swim; and the lovely silver and gold
With which you made the trim.

Oh, beautiful child; you were born to a family of sweetness and hearts;
And I promise you, baby,
We'll never be far apart.

Oh, beautiful child; I can see your kitty is so playful;
She also naps the hours away;
Oh, how she has a day full!

Oh, beautiful child; you have made a flower with an original blossom;
I remember the days not so long ago
When I would call it awesome!

Oh, beautiful child; the skill with which you crated your morning glory;
Helps me to see how smart you are,
So, I shouldn't worry.

Oh, beautiful child, your loving Mommy enjoys swinging on swings, too!;
Oh, promise me, you'll never lose
That sweet child within you.

Oh, beautiful child, look at the snowflakes dancing in the sky!;
One day, you'll dance just like them;
You only have to try.

Oh, beautiful child, your little life may be full of rain;
But, from the drops, a flower can bloom;
It's just a growing pain.

Oh, beautiful child, you've made the neatest window I've ever seen;
You've taken so much of your day
To make diamonds blue and green!

Oh, beautiful child, you've a guardian angel who's always floating above;
When there are moments I can't be there,
She'll give you all of my love.

Oh, beautiful child, spring is here and flowers are in bloom;
We can go out to pick some and bring them back
So that they can light up your room!

Oh, beautiful child, as happily as a dolphin flies above the sea;
I'll do my best to make your youth
As carefree as can be!

Oh, beautiful child, the steps you took to make your morning glories
Will tell so many people
Such impressive stories.

Oh, beautiful child, the polar bear Mommy leads her babies through the snow;
And just the same as I do for you,
She'll help them both to grow.

Oh, beautiful child, the dolphin swims; even late at night;
Flying through the air and floating
Upon the waves of white.

Oh, beautiful child, I see our dreamhouse will be lined with soft Q-tips;
And dear I know that you shall grow
A smile on your lips.

Oh, beautiful child, your cabin looks like it is made of logs of wood;
You're a strong, young woman; and I can tell
That for this world you will do some good.

Oh, beautiful child, I see you've made a flower with feint leaves and stems;
That just makes me want to look more closely
So that I can see them.

Oh, beautiful child, I can see
Your soft swan swims
So happily.

Oh, beautiful child, the mountain rests
Beneath the stars and moon; and as I carry you to the top,
You can sing me your favorite tune!

Oh, beautiful child, what a precious scene that you have made with dots;
I just wanted to tell you,
That I love your little spots.

Oh, beautiful child, I hope you never feel that you are lost in the dark;
For, I am never too far away;
Because in my heart, you light a spark.

Oh, beautiful child, the world may not always be able to tell exactly what you've made;
But, I see the trees, clouds, birds, and sun;
And I am not giving you a grade.

Oh, beautiful child, I need you
Like a butterfly needs wings; I hope that love fullfills your life
Like riches do for kings.

Oh, beautiful child, it looks so cold in you icy mountain view;
We have so much in common, you know,
Our favorite color is blue.

Oh, beautiful child, you have painted a cute, little bunny in brown;
As I look at it, it cheers me up;
When I'm feeling down.

Oh, beautiful child, you've made a lovely scene that sparkles in the sun;
There is so much in life you've learned;
And you have just begun.

Oh, beautiful child, you've made a picture of a little doe;
It has such amazing energy,
As it dances in the glittery snow.

Oh, beautiful child, we're a wonderful team; I love it when you create birds;
For, you capture the beauty in a picture,
And I put it into words.

Oh, beautiful child, your little squirrel sits on a branch on an autumn day;
Where are his acorns? They must be on the ground beneath another tree.
What a predicament, I say!

Oh, beautiful child, I watched you make your picture surrounded by blue;
And, I just loved so much to see
How much your flower grew!

Oh, beautiful child, roses and butterflies are two of your favorite themes;
They go together very well;
They make lovely teams.

Oh, beautiful child, what a strange flower!; it looks like it came from another world;
I like best the pretty way
That you have made the pastel leaves curled.

Oh, beautiful child, I know you dream of a little mountain under the moon;
I'll take you straight to the top
On a cool evening in June.
