I used to believe in true love
The kind of love that lasts forever
Where two people stay together
Through the good and bad
but I was proved wrong
this isn’t a love song
you said you would fight for us till the end
because I was everything to you
but now I could see right through
why I am trying to make things right
when your commitment is out of sight
sure you care for me but that’s all it will ever be
so take back all your memories because I can’t look at them anymore
I’m living in a land of delusion that prays on the illusion that you will be mine again
I tried to make you understand that I would do anything to go back once more
But no worries I got the hint, I’ll stop fighting too
because what’s the point when you’re in the game alone
