the rage,
the hate,
the anger,
it all
accumulates
into one act
of aggression
that can
change your
life
forever
but
sometimes
you are
destined
for
hell
and no matter
what you do,
you cannot
change
your fate
because there
always
something
pulling the strings
from beyond the grave
and it can cut them
at any moment
to deliver you
to the depths
of oblivion
Nothing
There is little shock value in such well composed lines. Hell is a human creation-concept to frighten children to be good. Does not always work. Evil is just evil, describing human potential and choice. I liked this poem, the "devil"? Well, not so much.
