An evil seed from the start
My family ties torn apart
Simple things began at first
Obsessive thoughts like a thirst
Parents split fueling the fire
Truth unknown a pathological liar
A bout with cocaine turned quickly to crack
Scared straight by a friend’s heart attack
Criminal traits now in my blood
Unable to stop the coming flood
Compulsive thefts as if in my genes
I lay awake wondering what it all means
Never violent but still out of control
A lack of caring the dice on the roll
Burglary, arson those too big and small
At times I thought I’d never fall
Caught once by chance never doing a day
My sentence light, a roll in the hay
Lost my wife, my home and my son
It didn’t matter cause I had won
Addictions turn from drugs to sex
A powerful force under a hex
Stronger, bolder like a bear craving honey
Tell me you love me, I’ll give you my money
My soul now split like Jeckyl and Hyde
Drowning beneath my evil side
Simple ideas analyzed to death
My better side choked of all breath
One last inhale a fight to the end
God in my corner the evil must bend
Awakened fresh, reborn with a new mold
Endless possibilities the future will hold
