Downfall.
Is it a crutch to see someone's smile?
To feel their touch
and look into their eyes.
No words are spoken though
so you hear no lies.
It's an unspoken bond
from mind to mind,
while you just lay there
and not worry about time.
I care too much
just to have it unglue.
From me to you,
spanning the darkness to the light.
There must be hope!
Why else do we fight?
I may be down,
but don't count me out yet.
Whatever comes next I know to take it and run,
then get ready to flex.
I'll let my mind scurry
as often as it wants.
