Perfectly In Place
It's really rather beautiful,
And it's really rather perfect.
Just living in this moment.
I'm saving memories of it for a rainy day.
When everything's gone wrong,
I'll remember your face-And your smile,
Everything else will fade away,
For a little while.
And I'll feel the sun on my skin,
Despite the rain,
And I'll feel safe,
Despite the moaning wind,
Because when I'm with you,
Everything is perfectly,
In place.
I LOVE this poem. It's kinda sweet & emotional, but without being sickly-sweet or overly emotional, if you know what I mean?! If not, then it doesn't matter! lol
