I wish I could believe his lies

Fall into his arms

And let down my gaurd

I wish the past didn't me plauge me like this

I want to forget it all

I wouldn't mind a bit of naive bliss

Wisdom only weighs me down

And knowledge only hurts

I can't ignore the facts

Can't ignore the stats

I can't run from the past

He's walking away

I suppose its for the best

And that's the way it has to go

And yet I can't help but wonder

Think about all the what ifs

And if I made the right choice

Based on what I know
