Brighter
Tommorow promises a brighter day
But I haven't seen it yet
In the shadows is no light
It hasn't gotten brighter yet
Sometimes I'll see a shadow
Lighter than the rest
But hope is gone
When it darkens
A flit of rainbow
Hasn't come
And I began to think
Perhaps our grass isn't quite
As green
As it could be
I long for the rain to stop
For the clouds to drop away
Let the sun smile on us
For just one single day
Perhaps then our hope will soar
And even when it's dark
We'll have that little hope drawn spark
Just let tommorow be our brighter day
