This is who I want to be
Not another face staring out from a magazine
I have my faults
And I've made mistakes
But here I am anyway
Life isn't perfect
And the grass isn't green
But that's how it is
On both sides
I've said many wrong things
And regretted them
But you have to live life
Without remorse
And only look back
At the good time for fun
And the bad ones for lessons learned
Remember that once you've done something
You can't go back
But don't waste too much time
Considering that
Just remember that each moment
Only comes around around once
So hurry and live life
While it is here
Don't waste time being in fear
Or wanting for something
That you are not
