Two hearts ripped apart, torn at the seams
Twenty-eight years marriage now broken dreams
A love once strong is now lost and gone
Over the years it's slowly come undone
Lips that used to kiss are now used to fight
Words filled with anger, hurt and spite
Happiness shown less and less each day
The laughter and smiles faded away
Heads in hands, tears fall from eyes
Too late to be saved from heartbroken cries
Now there's nothing else left to do
Except to see the end through
