The first time I saw you I fell
Straight off my feet into nothingness
You smiled and my heart skipped a beat
Now I'm in a love paralysis
Can you wake from a dream come true?
If so, please do not pinch me
I want you in my life
Not just as a fantasy
I love the way you listen
And care for what I say
I love to see your handsome face
Each and every day
The distance surely makes it hard
But when we get through this situation
We will be together forever
Through every type of complication
You say you love me now
Just wait until we live together
Don't be surprised in 80 years
I meant it when I said forever
I read and enjoyed this
I read and enjoyed this despite my aversion to love poetry.
My Secret River
why dont u like love poetry?
why dont u like love poetry?
So, you're calling my bluff,
So, you're calling my bluff, r u? I guess I should have said I don't like most love poetry ... perhaps because it's usually personal for the poet and I find it difficult to identify with the emotive aspect ... I mostly enjoy poems that I can relate to, and I don't always relate to someone else's love story. I'm not saying they're bad poems, just not always for me. There.

ooo.. i see
so you like 'the way you do'?
If I didn't like "the way I
If I didn't like "the way I do", I wouldn't be happy.

Good
The first stanza is great, saying you fell into nothingness seemingly as if he swept you off your feet into his arms. A love paralysis is a great metaphor.
