It's so easy for everyone to tell you not to give up
It seems even easier for them to leave you to 'solve it' on your own
Like if you knew any better you would be so helpless
Well I guess the advice was awfully helpful
I now know what I knew before.
I am on my own
Thankfully I am not alone on this lonely road
From what I've heard everyone walks alone
So deal with it
If only there was a softer touch to pain
If only loyalty extended past moments of glory
If only loyalty would stay to wipe those tears
But like I said
I know now what I knew before
I stand alone
