What is up with you and me?
We been talking for a while
You say you like me and i like you
We just look at each other an smile
But there's just one problem... you are scared to commit
Because in the past you had a bad relationship
So you say your scared, and that you dont want to get hurt
That your not ready, and that puts a knot in my throat
And i get the point really i understand
But i know that you can get over this, just give me your hand
You don't have to do this alone, I'll always be right here
Just in case you need some help to get over your fear
I'm always here to listen, not with my mouth but with my ears
I'm even here to lend a shoulder to catch all of your tears
And even though you're not ready I'm still waitin'
And from the looks of things it seems i can be patient
But the real question isn't how? or when?
It's will my patients ever wear thin?
