Like the hills of the Sahara sand dunes up ahead, changing my perspective,
I gallop upon a horse named dragonfly. Coming near, looking afar, the incline, the plateau.
the chase, the relief- all are just figments of a mirage to be seen.
Do we ever really know what's atop after all the countless moments preceding?
Accelerating with trust, respecting nature as grand as such.
Respect for a horse I trust, to know it's footing soundly I ride
with a sence of loyalty- perservering into the unknowning.
Pride fills me from inside as the desert opens up, and while riding together we are all one.
We arrive to the tea tent in passing time.
No dismounts, just passing bottled water around in a line. Riders atop their steeds
and the great pyramids in the background to be seen.
Within all of history's moments, moments like these remind me
that life is more complex than it seems, and all we have to believe is what we see
and the emotions released.
