so we meet today
being one with nature
and together we stay
talking without words
as we sit in peace for hours
watching the old quote bring true
"April Showers Bring May Flowers"
and then I think of memories with you.
As you start along your journey
let time be least concerning
take the second trail to your right
and see nature's life in broad day light.
Continue along your way
with delicacy in each step you take
and when the trail shows you a sharp left-
this is where we will have met;
as we sit upon the bench
overlooking the preserve
we'll speak of stories of our life
and what we've learned.
