Those nights always felt like Christmas Eve-

back when you were a child

and the adrenaline drove you wild

in anticipation, just waitin'

for that moment you awaken

reality shifted realizing you've been gifted

with something new- 

meant just for you;

another blessin' another lesson

another childhood dream come true.

Those nights I had the most peace

ironic, that's when I couldn't fall asleep

funny, that's when I can't control if I laugh or scream

all I want is to believe, all I want is to finally see-

the gift after presence, awareness-

that.. simple.. timeless.. moment.. of..

bliss; when all I feel is:

A New Reason To Live.

Like a dream come true
