She got lost in her own wonderland
Looking for a hand
"This way, that way"
Turning and yearning, wherever did she stand.
Grab a walkie', have a talkie'-
When nothing made sence
It made no difference-
It was her vision, lost in the distance
Rendered? Such significance
Splendid! Something different.
She set the sails
To go back home
Confronting her reality
Perservering with her strength, she'd grown.
Soon enough she found bliss, even
As times were tough she'd realize this:
"Wonderland was just a place to go;
Now she's looking through the glass;
Yes, fragile is the past. And all alone
She'd ran too fast, fighting for her future
Now putting down the weapons she had.
Time's changing, her reality rearranging
Looking at a new time for man; ready
To accept the presence of the present-
Back on familiar land. A home on her own,
Walking without wonder; knowing to go far is
To go with another- another chance to make amends
A new chance to break old trends, giving herself the chance
To be better than she ever has."
Walking without looking back;
Saying goodbye to wonderland.
