Maybe we'll never know

If tales are as old as time

and what came first

the water or the wine

but maybe we'll know

how Prince Charming held the kiss to Wake Snow

and how karma shows

you reap what you sow.

Maybe we'll never know

which way the cold wind blows

and how the fire burning within

ignites more than lust and love

saints or sins.

And maybe we'll know

how truth, love and understanding feels within our soul

and that every day

repeat rewind 

living for something new-

Time

is key for us to grow

with opportunities every sunrise

to create memories of our own

every step we take next

we must live each day 

to be the best version of ourselves

that we can strive to be.
