Through the winds of prayer,
Shouts of lies reign supreme,
But, the whispers of truth still remain,
Louder than lies screamed.

Silence sets in,
The truth becomes clear,
Eyes widen in fear,
Not a lie or sin.

“We are to be killed.”
Panic arose,
Shouts once again, filled the air,
But the truth sill echoed.

The truth whispered once more,
“But those with a strong will,
They will survive.”
Prayers of hope flew with the wind.
