Black as the night to which I dread
Black as the demons in my head
You are such a way I hold so dear
Oh but the price tis too much to bare
My friends and family all have gone
They are all convinced that I was wrong
Are you good, are you bad
Things in the past, so damn sad
You helped me to live, to live on
Even when my Angel of Hope had gone
You shown me warmth in a world so cold
You gave me youth to my heart so old
But you are a sweet poison to which I confess
