My eyes are held
When she plays with her hair
Even across the room
She's beautiful there
Shining with a light
Only seen by me
How can I let her know
What beauty I see
Her soft, graceful smile
And big, enchanting eyes
Oh, to hold her close
Through all those hurtful cries
A kiss on her forehead
To ease her pain
Helping her get out
Of that depressing rain
Holding each other close
Her head on my chest
Knowing she'll be happier with me
Than any of the rest
Sincerely believing
That a smile my way
Will Make any load lighter
And turn night into day
A touch of her hand
Puts a smile on my face
Knowing here and now
I'm happy in this place
