Oh i'm so bad with this

Oh i'm so bad with this replying stuff, i never know if i should or should not discuss my thinking behind a writing. Though, it is rewarding to hear a piece of poetry interpreted by other poets. Thank you A. griffiths57 & nightlight2012.I really like the idea of an inner voice.

When I wrote the poem I was thinking about the infleunces of night and day on objects in daily life. How the same stone, wall, or countryside can look completely different between night and day and variables of light content. We give things human-esque qualities. A wall can look dark and intimidating at night, or you may go close to it in the day and appreciate the beauty of the stonework, then it is a magically romantic wall. Essentially it boils down to how light (and the many qualities of it) is actually influencing how we judge things, objects and even moments. Our own mind being the receptor and converter, we are changing sunlight (or the lack of) into obect's voices.

Thanks for the explanation of

Thanks for the explanation of how this poem came to be. It allows one insight into the poet... (or so we think!! Lol). I just read and translate how they mean to me. I'm no shrink like some others on here. I do however enjoy interesting people, so.....don't be scared. Lmao. If anything I might ever blab away on my own theory of things....just for the sake of conversation and sharing of a moment with you.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Voices of the Stones:

lIKED YOUR POEM, VERY WELL WRITTEN. THE VOICES OF THE STONES HAS AN ERIE QUALITY ABOUT IT. I THINK THE POEM MEANS IN TIME WE WILL UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING OF OUR INNER VOICE AND ITS DIRECTION FOR US. HEARING VOICES HOWEVER, IS NO FUN AND SPOILS CREATIVITY I THINK.

That's right. That's why I hate those voice analyzers. They screw everybody up. They mess with and misinterpret everything worse than the written word!!!
