Amante Español (Spanish Lover)

You whispered Spanish lullabies
and held my hand in the moonlight
under the sway of the palm trees.

You taught me how to dance flamenco
and spun me around until I was
too dizzy to stand on my own feet.

You loved me with your hazel eyes
and your dimpled smile that spoke
with an accent that melted my heart.
