I have a hard time
wrapping my brain
around the concept
of love.

Do we have control
over our feelings
or do our hearts
have the final say?

Do we chose to love
or is it involuntary,
a reflex of our
love-seeking hearts?

I think love is
a decision we make
and it does not
rely on the receiver.

No one can earn love;
it is a free gift
given by a heart
making itself vulnerable.
