Divine Revelation I feel like I disappoint You
with every step I take
because it’s like I move
in reverse and never
find my way into progress.
I am unworthy of the mercy
You so lovingly bestow
nor the grace that overflows
from the seat of Your throne.
If only my mind would
stop spouting such lies
of my inadequacy and reflect
the promises You whisper
into my life every day.
