Tomorrow is but an illusion.

Its promise is a fallacy
for it never comes to pass.

Life is a continuous loop of todays
where yesterdays haunt in the shadows.

Tomorrows loom in the distance
threatening like clouds
that dissipate
before they reach us.

It's all words and thoughts,
but no actions.

Why do we fear it so?

Its bark is menacing,
but it has no bite.

Tomorrow is but an illusion...

a mirage where we find hope
and unfulfilled dreams.
