A Single Flame

Love Blossoms I watched the candle burn
and though it was a single flame,
at just the right angle
I could see the reflection
on the glass making it look
like two twin flames.
It made me think of us
and how we both had
this burning desire
but couldn't find a way
to bring that fire between us
into a fiery blaze.
