is my daily reminder

that you are always thinking of me

and my needs.

I never have to tell you

to turn it on

as I fall asleep in seconds.

But when i wake up

in the middle of the night

and uncover myself

from the mound of blankets

as I tend do,

I look up at the ceiling

and there you are

so thoughtful of me always.

You anticipate my desires

before I ever speak them.
