a lot longer than I so you should
know how this world works.

You think I would return to you
like a boomerang but gravity
doesn't control me anymore.

I have found true happiness
even though I tried so hard
to reason I didn't deserve it.

On the cusp of your birthday,
I know there's nothing more
I could ever need from you.
