You are my person 

and always will be.

I've never had such a deep connection-

an intimacy that I don't think 

every marriage ever achieves.

While this connection is

missing the physical component,

I know we can get there

because love can conquer anything.

And yes, at times 

it can feel boring and safe,

but all my past relationships

were exciting yet destructive.

We are building something beautiful,

something that will withstand

the tests of time

and overcome all obstacles.

Together we can weather every storm

as we work through circumstances

knowing we are a team.
