I fail at love,

but I'm trying.

Everyday I have to 

decide to love you.

It doesn't come 

naturally to me;

it takes work.

But not because 

you are hard to love.

I'm just bad at it

because I've been 

selfish all my life.

I fail at love 

but I'm trying.

And you are worth

all of the effort.
