and numbness set in
when you cut me off.

I hemorraged at your loss;
the trauma was
too much to bear.

The flow of blood
to my vital organs
was blocked.

My arterties clogged
with your rejection
caused an attack.

I tried to destroy myself
if it meant I wouldn't
have to live without you.
