Divine Revelation We have broken God's heart.
Every single one of us.
Every single day.
He only wants what's best for us,
but we choose what poisons
our bodies and souls.
We want the lesser things
when he offers Himself;
he wants to love us.
He could have left us here
to fend for ourselves,
but he not only came down
to this messed up world
and suffered for us on the cross.
But he still suffers daily
not only because we don't obey him,
but he also hurts when we do.
He came to wash away our sins,
and he is still here trying to
wash away our tears.
