Train your tongue to speak only the truth,
You who are full of pride, you who fear the truth
Because dishonesty overwhelms your being.
Train your ear to hear what is right,
You who have plucked mud in your earlobes,
And be swift to listen to
Mouths singing Solomonic creeds.
Train your conscience to concort with the just,
You who sow in the fields of injustice,
Harvesting favours from unjust acts.
It is because of your inequity that mother earth
Groans in the wicked weight of your sins; but because
Of unconditional love she cups her wrath in her hands.
