Free-hearted hospitality, you may call it
in the lighted spaces of my home
where bonfires blaze every eve
and my children sit around it
pestering me
for tales
of tricksters and monsters...
I bid you come, gain enough space to spare
for song, for all there is of soul and man.
My heart, averse to selfish pursuits
uncovers the cloak of night
wrapped over humanity.
