Boundaries; mountain chains, vast oceans
Millions of notions
Between us.
I can't see you, but I can feel you
Breathing on the other side.
I tried to cross these boundaries
But they were so high, so steady.
All I could do was raising my head
To the sky, praying for a passageway.
To my surprise, I saw your eyes
Reflected on two smiling stars.
My hot sigh holding a message from me
Flew to you,
Desperately asking you to cross these boundaries.
But u stood still, waiting for something
I never figured out. I just hope you'd move
Before my hands get used to coldness
Before my heart gets used to hunger
Before it's too late to move
Before I'm gone.
